Sorry guys. I didn’t have a chance to do a mask this past weekend, which is a shame because I had a great one lined up… So instead, here’s a body scrub I’ve been using for a month.
This past weekend was crazy busy and HOT! I decided to go traditional and try a pampering mask from my favorite brand of face masks..Posh.
I have loved Wet n Wild cosmetics since I first started playing with make-up…back in the 80’s. They are my go-to brand if I want to experiment or perfect a look because of their wallet-friendly prices.
Still trying to get my skin under control…I think it’s stress…so here is another purifying mask.
I wanted to move away from charcoal masks and try something moisturing or anti-aging or anything else for you guys…but my skin is acting up a bit so I needed to purify.
I’ve got another hair mask for you guys. This is a true mask, unlike the deep conditioner featured last week. I found it hiding among the shampoos and conditioners at Walmart, but you can also find it at Target. It’s less than $3.
Introducing a new series here at The Style Chimera. I absolutely LOVE to do masks at home. Face masks, hair masks, foot masks, you name it. I try to do something extra special for either my skin or hair every week.
So, throughout my teenage years I was plagued with severe cystic acne that has left me with a lot of facial scarring (as in lots of pockmarks and hyperpigmentation). Now in my adult life, while I have fewer breakouts (really, will they ever stop?!), I still have very oily skin and discoloration. Add that to the facial scarring and it makes fiding a foundation that makes everything look even a very daunting task… That is until L’Oreal came out with their Infallible makeup line.
