Mask Monday

Still trying to get my skin under control…I think it’s stress…so here is another purifying mask.

I’ve tried the bubble masks.  I’ve tried the sheet masks.  Here is a bubble sheet mask!  It’s another $2.50 mask from Walmart.  This one was funny for all the wrong reasons.  First, it was not that complicated to handle the actual sheet.  Take it out of the package, unfold, and put on your face.  This mask fit much better than the previous one I tried, no folding to get it to fit.  The actual size of the sheet matched the size of my face really well.  As with other bubble masks, the bubbles started forming right after I took it out of the package, so I needed to work quickly.  I got it in place and prepared to wait the 15-20 minutes for it to work.

I didn’t make it 15 minutes.

The bubbles really starting growing and I felt them start to creep toward my eye.  I kept adjusting the mask but I couldn’t shake the fact that I was getting something in my eye.  Then I sucked some bubbles up my nose.  Not even sure how that happened.  So the bubbles were getting bigger, I have stuff up my nose and I’m still feeling something going into my eye.  I think I made it about 10 minutes.  I removed the sheet and gently rubbed the bubbles into my face then got in the shower.

My skin felt soft and nice after, but clearly I need some practice with the bubble and/or sheet masks.  But, this one gave me such a funny story, I’d be willing to give it another try, just to perfect my technique.
