If you haven’t been to Walmart in a while, you are missing out. They recently released a new brand in women’s clothing called Time and Tru. It’s pretty good.
The quality is better than their other lines and the styles are surprisingly current for Walmart. Some of the pieces channel Madewell, Hunter and Topshop. Here are my picks.
This off the shoulder top is so pretty in real life. It comes in four colors and that embroidery goes all the way around the top. I almost bought this bell sleeve sweater. It still might come home with me… I reminds me of the Topshop jacket I missed out on in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale last year. This is a sweater so it’s even more versatile. Also comes in multiple colors. I managed to grab this tunic sweater on clearance at my Walmart. It’s just a simple sweater for those days you want to look put together, but don’t want to try. I love this sheer kimono. It just says “I’m on vacation” to me.
I wished peplum looked more flattering on me because I’d totally get this sweater. So cute. You can’t beat the price of these frayed ankle jeans. A great way to try the trend. I bought this cute, striped tee. It’s really soft and lays well. I’m going to get a lot of use out of it this summer. And here are some basic skinnies that also come in multiple colors. I’m seriously considering that pink…
Don’t these striped wellies remind you of Kate Spade?! They are really nice in real life too. I’d totally get them…if I hadn’t already bought the tall pink ones! They will come in handy with all the April showers I anticipate we’ll be getting here in MI. I own a couple pairs of Sperry’s boat shoes so I totally think they are worth the price. But if you want to test out the preppy trend, these navy boat shoes are a great way to do it.
The styles are cute and trendy, however the clothing has an odor

Really? I haven’t noticed an odor with the clothes I’ve bought. Most of the pieces I’ve gotten have been in store, so maybe it’s had time to air out…

I’m surprised you found these high quality. The items I tried from Time & Tru were cute, but fell apart quickly. In one case, a sweater I wore to my desk job started unraveling just a couple hours into the morning of the first wear!
