Sweater Weather

I don’t know about where you all live, but it is officially sweater weather everyday here in MI.  I LOVE sweaters.  The bigger the better.  Sweaters have totally taken over my closet, yet I need more every winter.

I’ve decided to start investing in nicer sweaters this year.  Ones that will last through washing and playing with a toddler and all the other stuff I do in a day.  I was tired of finding holes in the seams or snags that I had to work back out.  So, that meant a closet clean out…which means more room for new stuff! 😉

Here are some sweaters I’ve bought recently and love and here are some I have my eye on.

I got these two sweaters on sale from Express.  The cardigan is bulky and a nice weight.  It’s grayer in person but it goes with everything.  I sized down.  The green sweater is so soft but is a little short.  The sleeves have the perfect balloon effect.

These two are from Forever 21.  Not usually my go-to place for high quality fashion, but every now and then they surprise you.  The gray sweater is very soft and comfy, almost like you’re cheating by being “dressed”.  The pink sweater is a $15 trial.  I wanted to ease into such a strong pink, plus I love the wrap effect.

Here are three sweaters I keep looking at a lot.  I love that sweaters this season are so interesting.  I’ve seen a couple with pearl embellishments in stores, but I like this one because it’s longer.  It might pass as a dress if you are the right height.  The knotted one comes in a cardigan as well and a bunch of colors.  I’ve seen a lot of bloggers with a one of the versions and it looks like a well made sweater.  I just need to decide which one I want…  And I LOVE the sleeves on the pink sweater.  I have a thing for sleeves in general and I love that sweaters have (finally!) been added to the list of clothing with interesting sleeves.  This sweater is similar with a little more drama.
